Chiropractic Care and Long-Term Relief

Short-term fixes can be frustrating. If your neck or back pain keeps coming back, it is reasonable to want more than a temporary answer.
At At Last Chiropractic in Lithia, near FishHawk West, we start by looking for what may be contributing to your symptoms, so the plan we discuss considers the cause as well as the discomfort.
Long-term relief is a goal we work toward with you. It starts with understanding the problem.
Chiropractic care and long-term relief, at a glance
- Starting point: an individualized evaluation that looks for what may be contributing to your symptoms
- Care: gentle, instrument-assisted chiropractic care when appropriate, with progress monitored over time
- Coordination: referral to or coordination with another healthcare professional when that fits your needs better
- Location: 5611 Skytop Drive, Lithia, FL 33547, near FishHawk West

A Different Starting Point
Many people come to us after trying things that helped for a while. When the discomfort returns, it can feel like being back at square one.
Rather than focusing only on the symptom, we begin with an individualized examination instead of assuming every painful area has the same cause. Neck and back pain can have several contributing factors, including muscle strain, injuries, joint changes and the demands of everyday activities.
Understanding your symptoms and how they affect your routine helps us make recommendations that fit your needs.
Proactive Care That Works Alongside Your Medical Care
Chiropractic care is a conservative, proactive option. For us, proactive means paying attention to how you move and function, not only reacting when pain flares up.
It is not a replacement for your other healthcare. Chiropractic care is not appropriate for every condition and does not replace primary, emergency or specialty medical care when those services are needed. Decisions about medication belong with you and the provider who prescribes it.
When another healthcare professional is better suited to your needs, we explain that too. The goal is informed, coordinated care.
The Chiropractic Approach at At Last Chiropractic
Chiropractic has always placed value on the body’s natural ability to adapt and recover, and on starting with conservative care. Our role is to evaluate carefully and, when care is appropriate, to provide it gently.
Our doctors use gentle, instrument-assisted approaches, including Torque Release Technique and upper-cervical care when appropriate, without traditional manual twisting or cracking. Your examination findings, health history, comfort and goals guide the recommendation.

What Long-Term Relief Can Realistically Look Like
Chiropractic care may help some people with neck or low-back pain improve comfort and physical function. Responses vary, and a specific result cannot be predicted or guaranteed.
Progress includes the activities that matter to you, whether that means sitting through the workday more comfortably, enjoying a walk or returning to a favorite workout.
Your doctor explains the proposed frequency and duration, monitors progress and reassesses at appropriate intervals. The plan should be changed, stopped or referred when findings or progress indicate that another approach is needed.

Long-Term Relief FAQs
How many chiropractic visits will I need?
There is no responsible one-size-fits-all number. A recommendation depends on the diagnosis, how long the concern has been present, examination findings, health history, goals and response to care.
What might I feel after an adjustment?
Responses vary. Some people notice no immediate change. Others experience temporary soreness, stiffness, discomfort, tiredness or headache, often resolving within a day or two. Contact the office if a reaction is severe, persists or worsens.
Do I have to keep coming once I feel better?
No. Ongoing supportive or wellness visits are optional and should reflect your informed preferences.
