Gentle Care Adapted to Your Stage of Pregnancy

If chiropractic care is recommended, positioning, support and the adjustment approach are adapted to your stage of pregnancy and comfort. Dr. Carissa uses the Webster Technique when the examination supports its use. The focus is your pelvic mechanics and physical function.

Dr. Carissa Taylor holds the Webster Technique Certificate of Proficiency from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and has completed the ICPA’s 80-hour Perinatal Certification Program. Working Alongside Your Maternity Care

Chiropractic care complements your obstetric care; it does not replace it. Recommendations are coordinated with your maternity-care team when needed.

The Webster Technique does not involve manually turning a baby and is not a treatment for breech presentation. Your obstetrician or midwife should continue to monitor your baby’s position and discuss any time-sensitive options with you.
